Book Summary.

Learning the foreclosure process. The do and don’t of purchasing homes from owners, at auctions from banks or government. The book explains the types of loans, insurance, how to network with other investors and how to maximize profits while minimizing risk.

What inspired you to read the book?

I have been working in construction for quite a while. I’ve also been going to school for construction occupations and management. I have been wanting to start my own company. Buying, fixing and selling houses. Also I would really like to purchase a building for a decent price, fix it, and open a half-way house for people returning to society after incarceration in Kankakee County.

What you learned from reading the book?

I have learned ways to deal with home owners undergoing foreclosure, bidding at auctions, how to purchase bank and government owned properties, how to avoid many of the most common pitfalls of the real estate business. I have learned of the different types of loans, insurances needed and how to network with other investors.

How the book will influence your life and prepare for success upon release?

This book will help me find and purchase real estate legally, cost efficiently, and with minimum risk. Hopefully I will be able to work my way up to starting my own company. With enough time and money open up a half-way house and develop other projects such as a youth center.
